"Latitud 90 was founded in 1997 by Felipe Howard Montaner (journalist) and Alberto Gana Pepper (architect), enthusistic friends who have been going across Chile all their life and they are specialists in outdoor and adventure disciplines. In 2003 Nicolás Boetsch joined latitud 90, bringing commercial experience and creating the Latitud 90 Company Area, oriented to team work and motivation programs.

At Latitud 90, we believe that travel is a learning experience which transforms people. This is why each programme has been developed with the aim of revealing places, people and history in the most profound and comfortable way.

We plan to bring to light the diversity and uniqueness of Chile’s remotest regions through thematic tours suitable for the most demanding traveller, helping to foster their sense of discovery.

Our programmes are characterised by the high quality of the service we offer, including expert specialist guides and personalised attention in the participant’s language. Being strongly committed to the environment and a sustainable world, each of our programmes complies with three basic principles:

Eco Friendly: to preserve natural resources for future generations and produce a minimum impact on nature.

Fair Trade: to use local resources and employ local people under fair conditions, giving dignity to Chile’s native inhabitants and creating a genuine contact between the traveller and their cultural surroundings. (Subject to programme requirements and availability).

Social Commitment: to contribute 1% of each programme’s total price to train local people, generating job opportunities together with the conservation of traditions and cultural identity.
