Heading north cross the Fitzroy River and visit the Boab Prison Tree, once used to house convicts. Travel inland along the Gibb River Road to Windjana Gorge. Head to the day’s highlight, Tunnel Creek, an amazing 750-metre-long flooded tube tunnel, a result of eons of weathering. Note: Wear shorts and strap on sandals or old sandshoes to wade through the water in Tunnel Creek.
