From the bustling capital, Havana, we head along the Caribbean coast, pausing at the infamous Bay of Pigs, before arriving in the sleepy colonial town of Trinidad. Our tour starts in the South East of the island, in Santiago, from where the revolutionaries in the Sierra Maestre mountains received so much support. We explore some of the key battle grounds before travelling west (and back in time slightly) to visit the area where Fidel, Che and others landed aboard the Granma yacht.
