"True North Kayak Adventures was established in 1992, making it one of the oldest and most respected sea kayak outfits on the Kenai Peninsula. It is the only company in Homer dedicated solely to kayaking.

Alison O’Hara is the owner of True North Kayak Adventures. She founded the company because of her love of kayaking and guides many of the trips. She has over 15 years paddling experience, an educational background in environmental studies and a U.S. Coast Guard captain’s license.
