Uni-Travel Limited started trading in November 1982 as a student travel office on Lancaster University campus and still trades on campus. Uni-Travel expanded to encompass specialised travel arrangements and tours to the agricultural industry under the trading name FARM TOURS and again to this day we are looking after groups of farmers and their companions as they travel around the world. With our farming groups we travelled often to Canada and eventually through our on the ground experience came to know Canada almost better than our own country and so The Independent Traveller was born, a division dedicated to selling Canada, and over the last many years we have been selling Canada as a great holiday destination. This brings us to our current situation and a web site called it is Canada it standing for independent traveller is Canada."
