Tonga"Friendly Island Experience was first established in 1993 by Mrs. Waltraud (Maria) Quick of Germany. When first established, the "now called Friendly Island Experience" was then named "Reisedienst Quick Tours Ltd" (after its owner), which translation means "Travel service Quick Tours Ltd". Throughout the years, as the operation grew, Mrs. Quick further established another tourism venture in 1994, the "Heilala Holiday Lodge" (located on the main Island of Tongatapu in the village Tofoa).
Even today, the Friendly Island Experience is still a small and very personal operation being managed mainly by Mrs. Quick’s son "Sven" and his Tongan wife "Kalolina" who have now also been involved in the operation since 1993. Due to the long history of the Quick’s in the Tour guiding business, you can be assured to be provided, not only with some of the best, but also with the friendliest of service on the Friendly Islands of tonga.

Tonga"There is an abundance of white sand beaches and the swimming opportunities are excellent. Most beaches are protected by a coral reef which makes them unsuitable for swimming at low tide. There are no sandy swimming beaches in Nuku’alofa township. The best beaches on Tongatapu are to be found at ’Anahulu, Laulea, Oholei, Fua’a-motu, Monotapu, ’Utukehe, Fahina, Ha’atafu and Hufangalupe.
