Our walks therefore are aimed at those who enjoy walking, appreciate the countryside and value the culture and history of their surroundings.
Our groups are limited to sixteen, so we blend rather than intrude into our chosen destinations. In these hitherto largely unexplored areas, the villagers are enthusiastic about people visiting and becoming acquainted with their land.
At Terracotta Trails, we respond to their generous and friendly welcome by using local hotels, visiting local restaurants and ensuring our groups respect their surroundings when out walking.
A vital ingredient for understanding the Italian people, their culture and personality is their gastronomy. Hence authentic local specialities of food and wine always feature strongly in our holidays.
